Susan Debra Bucenec lived a life filled with love for her family, friends, travel, and most especially her sweet puppy Leo. Always smiling, Susan was filled with integrity, beauty, and grace. Her laughter and love of life was inspiring to all who knew her. She was truly unique- a loyal friend, gentle, caring, truly funny, truthful and faithful - she brought a smile to your face, her optimism and joy lighting up the room. Loved by all who had the opportunity to be with her, Susan was a loving soul who lost her brief battle with cancer on June 6, 2010.

Susan was a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, after which she started a career in retailing as a buyer for Frederick Atkins buying office. She moved to the wholesale side of the apparel industry after several years with increasing responsibilities for sales management and spent the last 18 years with Kids Headquarters- a division of Li & Fung USA, rising to Vice President of Sales and Special Accounts. Susan's passion and dedication to her business, customers and the company's success helped her launch the U.S. Polo brand while there. Her warmth and personality enabled Susan to develop her numerous business relationships into personal friendships.

An important part of Susan's life was her large group of friends. She numbered among them a close knit group from their days in elementary school that remained close throughout the years. Regardless of the length of her friendships with people, Susan always had a genuine interest in knowing about them and their families. Once a friend of hers - always a friend.

One of Susan's greatest loves was travel. For all of her adult life she would always make sure to enjoy travel both in this country and abroad. Her true passion was reserved for Italy, which she loved and visited over 20 times in her life and developed lasting friendships with many people she met on these trips.

With the sudden illness and passing of our dear Susan, our goal is to help fund research for the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and keep Susan's memory alive.

Susan was a friend to many and a source of inspiration to all who had the unique pleasure to know her. She touched so many lives - a kind and beautiful person who will be forever loved and never forgotten.
